| #1the_ubbergeekJul 30, 2008 0:35:28 | Okay, now I wonder.... A book on all martial things is coming, a bit later, a book on arcane things will follow. But, is there in the plans a divine equivalent? I'm curious, being a divine classes guy much. Okay, I know that needless symetry is a design motive discouraged, but... I'd be interested and buy that probably. |

Then they release the Martial power book. Next in PHB II they will finish the Arcane classes and so they will have the Arcane power book... so you'll probably have Divine power next year or so, after they have exhausted the Divine sources classes. Adding power and build options is part of the flexibility of the system. And they,ll need to hammer down the base classes before they can release new build options... So be sad that you only have a few build options for a while, but it suggests that you'll get much better developed options later, as even the designers get the swing of the system. |

| #10wizardmonJul 31, 2008 13:50:08 | Not all symmetry is needless symmetry. ;) Is this to say that there are some power sources that a PC cannot access? ![]() |
| #11ranadielJul 31, 2008 14:58:37 | Is this to say that there are some power sources that a PC cannot access? They can't access the "....darn it I'm a zombie now", "Commoner/Funny Hat", "I'm Orcus", "Heart", nor "Captain Kirk" powers sources as all were found to be either too powerful, too weak, or too difficult to design classes for.:P |

I'm just gonna second this opinion, since you've pretty much nailed down exactly what I was thinking. |
| #13furin_miradoAug 05, 2008 17:10:20 | I'm playing a tiefling cleric right now, but I've resigned myself to that fact that my character will hit lvl30 and retire before the divine sourcebook comes out. Well at least I'll be able to then make a martial character based off that book, heh. |
| #14stogoeAug 05, 2008 21:35:46 | To my mind, we already know what most if not all the Arcane classes are, so there's no spoilers in plugging Arcane Power. We the loyal viewer have no idea what Divine classes are in the PHB2, beyond the vaguest hopes (Divine Striker, Divine Controller), so they're waiting to plug the 'Divine options for Paladin, Cleric, X, Y, and Z' book until they've revealed what X, Y, and Z are. |
| #15the_ubbergeekAug 05, 2008 21:50:11 | I guess we may see some more mystic, cloistered Divine Controler class I guess... Something like Favored Soul, but with more schtick. Wonder if they would offers the Aasimar 2,0 there.... Tied to the new Angels... |
