DnD Insider Character Creator + PHB3 = ?

Mar 07, 2010 13:02:54 I was just thinking, and I want to subscribe to DnDI. But should I wait until after the PHB3 comes out, or will I be able to do an update to include the new races and classes featured in the new player's handbook?

A D&Di subscription includes with it monthly updates to the Char Builder and Adventure Tools. These updates are released on the first tuesday of every month(I think) and include the material from the previous month's books and the Dragon/Dungeon from two months prior. You should be able to get PHB3 material even if you were to get a 1 month subscription and then cancel I believe(although for a month subscription you might have to get the update on release day if you bought the subscription today).

You keep it with the full functionality and your latest updates, you just don't get any new updates.
