| #2BolongoApr 21, 2009 13:51:49 | No. Nothing on the schedule for this year, anyway. |
| #3darth_azalinApr 21, 2009 14:46:57 | Seems that it was scrapped. I so badly wanted the Dracolich and Orcus. |

| #5Tharag_BoccApr 25, 2009 11:44:05 | All I wanted was a Green Dragon.... Same here. Sadly at this point if we ever get a gargantuan green dragon it will be based on the new art.
WARNING!
I know the designers said they changed the look of the green dragon because it was supposedly not uniquely iconic to D&D, but honestly, I have a sizable collection of dragon artwork, and the design of the red and black dragons is pretty generic as well (big red might almost as well be Smaug of Tolkien fame). Even the white isn't all that unique; leaving only blue all that special. I'm much more inclined to believe that the design of the 4e green dragon was altered precisely because no iconic figure had been release. Had any major art revisions been made to the other four chromatics there would have been lots of complaints that the new art invalidated the iconic miniatures.
END.
|
