Dragonlance --- I have friends who I am pretty sure consider those books to be the very definition of D&D for them, not because they played the earlier versions but simply because of reading the books. I wonder if it could help to get them back in the game if their was a 4e version of the DL chronicles shrug. There daughter is one of the folks I have bought D&D books for and I would probably buy them for her.
