Has nobody posted anything about this yet? This news has been out for 43 minutes!

It's being discussed in some other threads, but I think we already knew (or strongly expected) that druid was going to be a controller.

That's what I'd assumed. (I've been beating the "Druid is a Controller" stick for quite a while now, too.)

Still, I was surprised that nobody had even mentioned it yet here in Future Releases. This deserves its own thread for future speculation.

Fascinating. I'm 3 for 3 on guessing the roles for classes I'll never play.

Yeah, this was known. What's more interesting is that it is a controller that retains the wild shape ability -- and to read it, it doesn't seem to preclude another class from also using wild shape albeit for a different purpose (I'm looking at the Warden).

Ha I so totally called it being a controller!:P Now I just have to stand here in shock that it managed to retain wildshape in the manner that it did. I do love the flavor of the Primal Beast. I have to wonder if the Primal Beast was a Primordial, God, one of their creations(then which side created it), or something unrelated to them both.

Ah but while that is true, it also means that the Warden doesn't have to be shoehorned into being a wildshaper anymore. Which means that my idea of sniper style Warden isn't completely out of the question!.....Not that I actually think there is a large chance of my idea being right, but who cares.:D
