| #1yusakuasanoJul 29, 2008 9:06:30 | It is said that the druids will be more dependent to the shapeshifting ability and thats really great. But how is gonna be fleshed out? Will have 3-4 forms to shapeshift and advance in levels like the druids in wow (dont like it very much)... or will be a more flexible system in the aspect of choosing the animal form?? (prefer the latter option) Is there any other info on this subject?? ![]() thanks |

This is what I think, and what should have been in the previous edition. The forms will be chosen in the form of powers. The simple ones, like birds and little animals, will be at will. Encounter powers will make up most of the choices, like Bears and Dire Enlarged animals, and the more exotic, powerful will be the day powers, like a elder dragon (if that is a choice, and most likely epic) Each form will have advantages and have disadvantages (like no fine manipulation and such). I think that the casting of spells, whatever is left that isn't a morph power, will be able to be cast in most forms, though some of the smaller forms might prevent some casting like damage inflicting stuff. It is my stance that the Druid should have been more of the nature casting class and that the "Shifter" class should have been called something different. I believe the Shaman is getting the other end of that spectrum. |
