However, the Gnoll Huntmaster is an abomination. The paint job is half-decent, but who ever designed the model did a **** job at it. It looks like a human with a dog face and claws on it's feet. Simply a terrible model.
Gnolls are perhaps my favorite monsters in 4e so I may be especially critical because of it.
On the upside I'm overjoyed to see the Arbalester! :D
So as a sadistic DM, I cant wait for that day that I plop the mini on my flip mat to see the look in my players eyes. BUAHAHAHA!

I fully agree. If the pictures are of production models and not paint masters I will be very pleased to start collecting again. I also like the set distribution. Two cases should net me 2 of each visible, 2 of each uncommon, 4 of each common, and approximately 1 of each rare (which with luck I can make exactly with a few trades). Those numbers are perfect for my recent collection strategy
My only possible complaint is the release date according to the sight I typically order my minis from Dangerous Delves releases in June, the same month as the next SWM set Jedi Academy. Add to that the Eberrron Player's Guide and 2nd Clone Wars map pack; June is looking too be a rather expensive month for me ($400+ to support my RPG hobby alone).
When are the new packs being released?
Everytime I try to get out of minis they keep draggin' me back in.

And now that I'm home I can fully appreciate those paint jobs and yes those paint jobs definitely seem on par with some of the earlier rares and uncommons. Some comparable jobs are the Dwarf maulfighter, elf conjurer and mercenary guard from Desert of Desolation.
In other instances it surpasses some of the earlier rares and uncommons such as dwarf maulfighter, cyclops and cliffwalk archer Desert of Desolation.
IMO this along with the fact we get 1 visible large offsets the fact we're getting less per box. So I won't be so negative towards the new sets

It's also for high end collectors like myself who buy whole cases. Most hobby shops offer a discount on such purchases, making saving up for a case a better financial choice than buying single packs.
Also, WotC packs their shipping cases with collectors in mind. Each shipping case for this upcoming set (baring packing errors) will contain exactly 1 of each of the 8 visible figures, and should also contain exactly 1 of each of the 8 uncommons, exactly 2 of each of the 8 commons, and 8 of the 16 rares with no duplications. So buying by the case goes a long way to removing the "random" factor from collecting the miniatures.
