| #1ThulkasMay 15, 2014 8:42:11 | Hello. I am a spanish player who wants to know if the new edition of Dungeon and Dragons (the next) will be published in spanish. Soon the new edition will be sold in the stores but nobody has said if it will be sold in spanish. I think that the spanish player are a great majority in this game after the English-speaking players And we would like if someone of wizards can answer us if it will be sold in spanish and it will be the same date as in English
Regards! |

Regards! |
| #5ThulkasJul 03, 2014 10:18:18 | Well i would like to "congratulate" to Wizards by this news. I think its one of the biggest mistakes made by wizards and also a lack of respect to the players who dont speak english.I hope you reconsider for the benefit of the players. Now i can only say that I am tottaly disapointed with the game and especially with Wizards and just like I many spanish players and i suppose others countries. If wizard wanted more fans has just lost one. "Congratulations" for your work!! I hope my words dont bother but is what i and many players feel right now. I sincerely hope that that Wizards very soon reconsider its decision and pleasing to all his followers in the world
Regards!

The last D&D product ever translated into danish was in '91 Of course there are a lot more spanish, german and japaneese speakers out there, so I think a translation in these languages will come eventually.
Anyway.. I recommend that you try out the english version, if you wanna play D&D right away. Your english skills seem fine! |

They may have something big on the digital front but want to make sure it will work before announcing. They keep mentioning the rules being a living document or something similar. This digital front might handle the languages and could explain the silence. |
| #8Obvious_NinjaJul 06, 2014 18:15:07 | The first product for DnD 5th/Next have just come out. I'm sure there are quite a few products in the pipeline that are not quite ready to be announced. I'm sure at some point there will be translations for the books into various languages. In many cases its a third party that licenses the publication rights for the different languages. |
