I would like to start a thread about the Dungeon Tile Mapper which was ages ago developed by Jai and presented by Wizards. Its link actually still works: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/
That said, my question is how do you use dungeon tiles?
I guess there are a couple of answers and I try to sort it out:
1. Not at all. I just play with battle descriptions. 2. I use papers (like flipboard sheets). 3. I use the maps delieverd with the adventure. 4. I use official released dungeon tiles. 5. I create my own.
I usually use just a block of flipboard papers, but I would love to make it more colorful. I have a decent collection of dungeon tiles released by Wizards, but in most cases they do not fit so well, and I do not like to build it up during role-play.
So basically I do have two question for the community: First, how do you handle it? Do you have any suggestions? Second, would you like Wizards to create an updated version of the Dungeon Tile Mapper? I would like to have such a tool, and I would also pay for that!
What would Ed say? Or you? |
