Jul 07, 2011 13:33:18 What I would love to see is a PDF version of the tile sets that are no longer available. At the current price point I would prefer to buy the real tiles (and a lot of the time a couple of sets), but there are a few sets that I have missed or just would like to have more of to augment my collection.

Would this be a viable buisness decision? If not free how about selling them for $2-3?

Thoughts?

Jul 08, 2011 8:41:41 I think I'd rather see the sets reprinted in a bundle/boxed set. PDF's just wouldn't fit with the size (thickness?) of the other tiles.

But I would like to see some re-prints of the older tile sets.

I disagree. I have made copies of my tiles and then laminated the copies when I required a tile I had only once multiple tiles (like certain LFR adventures requiring a tile set thrice) and they look very well.

Jul 10, 2011 3:20:40 Printing on card stock and gluing the tiles to foam core works extremely well. Very light and very sturdy.

Jul 10, 2011 3:58:30 Chipboard comes very close to the thickness of the original tiles. combine that with cardstock and laminating and it just might match.

I invested in a decent color laser printer. I've printed hundreds of color pages and I haven't even used half of the toner it came with. If you're going to print color, it's the way to go.

Only if you buy the original ink from your printer manifacturer. Third party ink prints just as well for a fraction of the cost

However personally I would prefer if they just re-release the old sets. Copying, printig and laminating a tile once if a while when I just need one more piece than I have is fine, but I would be too lazy to print, laminate and cut an entire set that WotC sold as PDF. Just too much work, better WotC sells them with the work already done for me

They could generate the finished product on their end (to satisfy their desire for you not to have the tiles individually in digital format) then you just download your dungeon for printing.

Jul 12, 2011 22:19:40 I would really like to see a set of tiles that focuses on bridges. Stone bridges, wooden bridges, metal bridges, crumbly and broken bridges, small bridges and large bridges. They could be represented by different styles, such as a psudo-roman, psudo-greek, or midevel. I have almost every set of tiles produced. There's desert tiles for Athas. Winter tiles for Icewind Dale. Caverns and caves. Towers and sewers. City streets and buildings. And dozens I havn't mentioned. But no bridge tiles for outdoor encounters.

Also, while you're at it, how about some swamp land tiles complete with bog tiles and cypress tree tiles, rotten logs and etc.

I agree I would prefer reprinting as best, I do not see this happening ever. I would rather have, in the end, a lesser product over not to have access to the product at all.

I was just suggesting a product that does not exist that I for one would spend money on and should be pretty cheap for WoTC to release.
