| #1codezJul 23, 2009 0:05:50 | I am new to the website of DnD but i used to be a heavy player of DnD at our towns Gaming Shop. I would like to propose an idea for Dungeons and Dragons to make a text based game of DnD so that players that cant goto the Gaming Room to play DnD can log onto a website join either a private or public world and start playing with other players live. This of course would need some tools. A map building software of sorts i can post some ideas on how to make that possible but a program that will let everyone see the area that you are in. It could possibly be a basic drawing on paint or something more detailed on photoshop, or the GM could just make it so he describes the setting (Recommended). Another tool this would need is a dice roller that every one in the public or private world could see, and to reduce people that change the program to get the max roll or the lowest roll it would be a program that is on the site. Just like the dice roller on this weebsite already just one were more then one person can see the results. I think this would bring a lot of old DnD fans back to playing DnD because its easier to get on and start playing with friends. Thanks for reading, Please leave comments saying what you like and what you dont or extra ideas. Also if Wizzard would let me i would like to start a production team ASAP! If you are interested in this production team please leave a comment saying so, BUT we will not begin working until this idea is approved by Wizzard. I take constructive criticism well but please try to keep in mind that i am only 13. I am very interested in the older games where your imagination can take hold of the game and change and twist the story little by little and the story goes on. |

| #7codezJul 26, 2009 23:26:57 | Thanks everyone for the input, and the even if Wotc doesnt make this game soon. I am thinking of making a game that isnt related to DnD but using my ideas makes a game that is open for everyone. Right now i am looking for help with a website that will run the options i would need. So please reply to this message giving me more ideas (which are helping alot). Or if you would like to help the website. I would be able to pay for a little bit but keepin in mind im 13 and dont have a job. So before i start anything i would like to wait and see if other people have the same idea or close to this idea. |
