I'm sure you've noticed over the PHB1, Martial Power, FRPG, and the PHB2 previews that each Power Source has a number of gimmicks to make them unique. Let me see if I've noticed most of them:

Martial-
  • Reliable Powers and more chances too hit.
  • Weapon Specialization Trees
  • Martial Weapon Profiencies with higher bonuses than impliments/holy items.
  • Weapon power synergies.
  • Striker style high damage output.
  • Self suffenciy built into the utilties.
  • Skill interaction with some powers, using specialized keywords.

Arcane-
  • Wider array of typed damage.
  • Familar Feat trees?
  • Better secondary special effects with powers (stun, mez, additional damage type)
  • Versitity built into each class (multiclass with bard, swappable dailies with wizard, unique resistances with Sorcerer, etc.)
  • A strong Controller subtype throughout the entire power source.
  • More movement based utilities.

Divine-
  • More heals per power/utlites.
  • Channel Divinity Feats
  • Better armor class, via armor or special ability.
  • Focus on Radiant/Fire/Thunder style damage.
  • Strong Leader subtype in all classes for party benefit and buffs.

Primal-
  • Better holds/mez effects with attacks.
  • The ability to swtich up subtype based on form or summon in play.
  • Secondary sub-powers based on form or range builds.
  • Higher HPs for classes.
  • Better immunities to status effects.

Next, some predictions and thoughts.

Okay. Here is a thought about Divine Power:

  • Domain's will be an extention on the Divine Channel mechanic but allow for swapping of encounter powers into themed powers.
  • Divine Mount feat tree for Divine classes.
  • Cleric builds that will fill out the Wis/Cha/Str trees that already exist.
  • The Mutliclass feat that will give access to some of Divine Channeling.
  • Generic God templates.

And a few predictions/hopes about Martial Power 2:

  • More Weapon Specialization trees that link to Paragon Paths.
  • A Cha based rogue build.
  • Minion Warlord.
  • Ranged Warlord.

Cool, you can now reflavor every single ability and give it to the various classes and no longer have to buy another source book!

Dude, I'm not going to sit there and do that much frik'n work. I mean, sure you can pretty much do that. But I'm just using the gimmicks and themes for the power sources a brain storming material for what we might see coming down the pipe. But it's true. 4E is very friendly to simple type swaps and theme reskinning. It reminds me of Exalted in that fashion.

You might want to add to Martial skill training interaction (a la rattling and invigorating key words)

Done and done, please keep adding ot the list so we can use it as a reference. And if you have a correction or better wording please, feel free to offer.

The Avenger is divine, but can only wear cloth, so that statement isn't necesarily true.

We don't yet have anything concrete on the other four power sources, but that's never stopped us guessing what there might be. Here's a few purely speculative gimmicks.

Shadow
  • Powers that gain an advantage when user is invisible/concealed
  • Weakening, misdirecting and debuffing foes

Psi
  • Using a foe's own abilities against it
  • New ways to use the foe as a 'companion' in combat

Ki
  • A theme of clearly defying natural law (e.g. walking on air)
  • A strong Striker subtype throughout the power source

Elemental
  • Variable subtypes depending on chosen element(s) - Air (controller) Earth (defender) Fire(Striker) Water (leader)
  • Summoning a core feature of all classes

You've....already done most of the work. You'd only have to do it for a specific item at a time, which would take little to no time at all. Honestly the hardest thing to do would be to come up with a silly name for the ability and if you've played Exhaulted you should have plenty to use.
