I am a big fan of the Eberron campain setting and with 4e I was glad to see it come back however I find it very lacking at the moment. I remember in eariler editions that there were multiple levels of Dragon Marks, and many more important key figures and refrences to the Draconic Prophecy. So What I would like to do is start a wishlist for fans of the Eberron campain setting and hope that mabye some of the people at WotC will see this and get some new ideas.

1) Updated advanced feats/paragon paths/epic destines featuring the growth of dragonmarks
2) More refrences and mabye a few select pasages of the Draconic Prophecy
3) Bring back the mark of Death (even if it is lost)
4) Psiforged!!
5) Half-Daelkyr!!

1. Maybe in a future Expeditionary Dispatches article.
2. The Prophecy is whatever the DM wants it to be.  The only places the Prophecy is quoted is in the novels (or excerpts from novels reprinted in game books), because it's a tool of the story.
3. Not gonna happen.  Hellcow and/or WotC have stated that we'll never get game statistics for it.
4. Shardmind (PH3).  Refluff to taste.
5. Probably not gonna happen, at least as a full-fledged race.  Maybe a Bloodline feat chain.

Can't say much for the first three, but a Psiforged would be a WARFORGED BATTLEMIND, and I agree with Haplo on daelkyr mongrels.

In my Eberron game someone wanted to run a Half-Daelkyr and we just refluffed the spellplague rules from the Forgotten Realms player's guide and used those for all of his graft powers. Ended up having some really fun times roleplay wise with him.

I'd like info on creating/tailoring/detailing skyships.

1) These will probably show up in Dragon sometime, hopefully sooner rather than later. I'd love to see an Heir of Siberys PP/ED myself.

2) I don't think that we'll get any snippets, but we may get some examples of what Prophecy snippets may look like.

3) It's probably not going to happen, barring a huge change in philosophy or management. All parties involved have made it clear that the Mark will stay lost.

4) I see one of two things happening here. Dark Sun's half-giants will be (severely re-fluffed) goliaths, so the mysterious shardmind may be severely refluffed Psiforged in Eberron as has been suggested upthread. The alternative is that there will be a "bloodline" feat chain.

5) This will probably be a feat chain, but I have a sneaking fondness for the refluffed Spellscarred idea mentioned upthread.

As it should stay, too. Even now, some Marks are way more popular than others, simply for the "coolness" factor. (Mark of Storm, I'm looking at you.) Show your players that there's a 'Mark of Death' to choose from, and it will skyrocket to first-place; by publishing it, it would instantly become neither rare nor lost in D&D culture, despite those being central to its identity.

It's a little like the rarity of dual-wielding, Good-aligned Drow Rangers: fictional since conception.

I want them to redo the dragonmarks. The way they were done officially was unacceptable and boring.

Milord of Khyber, how would you like dragonmarks to function in 4th edition? Maybe some of your ideas would be good for us in our home campaigns.

I'd be interested in your ideas too Khyber, and anyone else's.  I intend to start up a 4e Eberron campaign at some point, and while I like the current Dragonmark feats, I might be interested in adding additional elements related to them as well. =D

I would really love to see more done with the Dragonmarks. Siberys and abberant marks especially need more love in 4e. A Siberys epic destiny would be awesome, and abberant marks have little said about them as far as I can tell, save that they are a feat a player could take.

I'd also like to see more done with the artificer--although I'm playing an artificer in an upcoming Eberron game, so that might be a little selfishness on my part. Wink

Finally, and more generally, I'd like to see more Eberron adventures and write-ups in Dungeon magazine. Dark Sun is coming out in another few months and I'm worried that once it shows up Eberron's already slim support will disappear completely.

I think I'd like something like what they did with weapon styles or domains in MP2/DP. A pair of feats, one for the fledgling mark, and another for the more powerful mark (and maybe a third epic one for the siberys mark? I dunno)

The minor one would give a skill bonus and modify several classes at wills. The major one would alter the encounter powers and give two bonuses.
