| #2GMforPowergamersJan 16, 2009 0:20:06 | Do you guys think this presentation of Warforged will be different? If so, how and why? Hellcow (aka Mr Baker himself) said way back when that issue came out that it was not only a snapshot of that moment of work on them, but by the time it was published...um is that the right word for an e-zine... it was already not the same as what they were doing in ebberon... I am sure now months later it is diffrent again... |
| #3beej_silverJan 16, 2009 11:21:38 | I would rather have them as the same as the Dragon Article, but with new options via feats and warforged components. That way the previous material don't get obsolete. But that's just me. All up to WotC, it is.:D |
| #4vebrandssonJan 16, 2009 11:26:05 | I expect the race itself will be the same. I just expect the feats, paragon paths, ect. to be more Eberron flavored than what was in dragon which was intentionally generic. |
| #5GhostStepperJan 16, 2009 12:28:48 | I expect the reparation apparatus to get a big nerf. |
| #6brotherjgizmoJan 16, 2009 13:58:53 | Me too. Now how many want to bet that people will complain that WotC ripped them off because they already payed for a Warforged article in Dungeon/Dragon? |
| #7_Mithreinmaethor_Jan 16, 2009 14:38:15 | Me too. They will complain if there are any changes made as well since the most current rules source is the legal one. Older sources become invalid. Doesnt bother me really since I am not an Eberron fan by any means |
| #8the_fanJan 16, 2009 14:44:20 | Me too. Which would be hilarious, since the Warforged was released during Dragon's free period. |
| #9brotherjgizmoJan 16, 2009 14:45:27 | They'll still complain, trust me. |
| #10doctorhookJan 16, 2009 16:03:16 | They'll still complain, trust me. Regretably, you are correct. OTOH, it's not our fault that those people will be stupid. |
| #11wizardmonJan 16, 2009 17:03:33 | ...The Warforged article was free? If it was free, then people did not buy it, and would have no grounds to say that what they payed for was undermined? |
| #12sallaJan 16, 2009 17:15:04 | ...The Warforged article was free? If it was free, then people did not buy it, and would have no grounds to say that what they payed for was undermined? Just because they have no substantial cause to complain does not mean people will not complain. |
