In the cleric preview, the level list show's "feats known" and list it a 1, where all the "old school" classes get an additional feat.

Now the big question...  is this intenional?
It's supposed to be for newbies, so i can certainly understand if they built in (pre-picked) the feats as "domain features", since there's litterally thousands of feats to pick from.

On the otherhand, it could just be a typo.

I assume it's a typo, or just a bad choice of phrasing intending to mean "Additional Feats Known", or whatever.

Just like they forgot to say how many skills you know from that list, they forgot the word "additional."

This isn't quite copypasta from the book.

Upon further consideration I'm inclined to agree.  Since there's "-" on the chart.  Thus if it really was "feats known" you'd gain, then loose, then gain, then loose....  Which makes no sense.

So far, the Essentials looks very very interesting.  I especially like what it says about the wizard being able to pick and choose his spells from his spellbook, so long as he does not have two spells of the same level.  This allows for great versatility without the necessity of retraining.  It also makes the wizard a much more formidable force on the battlefield, esp if he has the Tome of Readiness mastery feature.  Even a hybrid wizard of this type, if he took Spellbook as a hybrid talent option (yes, I'm still hoping that it will show up in Arcane Power 2 as a modification to the Hybrid Wizard).

Pushing it out even further, it would make sense for something like this for Fighters, to have them choose their At-Wills, Encounter, Daily, and Utility powers after an extended rest (there are even feats around that let them swap out those powers after a short rest).

It also tickles me that Magic Missile has been made a standard At-Will power for the Wizard.  After all, it's been around since the beginning, and every first-level magic-user had to have it, as it was one of the few offensive spells that was available.

Incorrect cell format in the table. All those '1's should be '+1's. They got it right with the wizard preview, at least.
