So, is Harrowing Halls (other than having "3d" things - whatever those wind up looking like) finally a building interior set?

If so, I may have to pick a few up.  I really need to see more of it, though, before I can get beyond the "potentially interested" stage, and to the "excited" stage.

I have to agree that the story behind psionics is interesting and well done.

I have never liked psionics because they smack of space opera and pigs in space, not Malory, Beowulf and the Arabian Nights. However, this story makes psionics less of mutant minds and more of supernatural powers like magic and divine powers.

I was honestly expecting the "new fluff" for psionics to be just completely blah, but this... I'm happy with this.  I can work with this.

In fact, this little comment:
"Others, including most practitioners of psionic ways, believe that their power is the world's response to the intrusion of the Far Realm, similar to a mortal body's reaction to disease."

That might be my favorite psionic power background yet.  It still leaves room for psionics to be a more "natural / innate" magic - but it arose for a purpose.

It's nice.  Gives it a nice thematic tie to the rest of the fantasy world.

I've seen the cover for Hammerfast on deviantART a while ago (and even left a comment on it) and I still was surprised that it will be a separate book. I thought the cover was for an adventure module.
