Future Release Suggestion: The Book of Nerfs

Apr 10, 2009 8:03:56 Well, as we all know half the classes are broken and there is powercreep like whoa with every new book. Obviously what we need is a new kind of book that provides downgraded options for the classes, powers and epic destinies we know and love.

"Tired of dealing 2d6 damage with your at-will? Do 1d8 instead! Sick of having your half your hitpoints regenerate every round? Now regen only happens on the first Tuesday after a full moon! Bored with being able to fly, teleport, and teleport while flying? Now, you can't!!!

The Book of Nerfs will let you take that optimized, badass dragonborn tempest fighter you've been working on and turn him into a gentle, yet loveable kitten."

I think we can all agree that WotC needs to release one of these, yeah? ;)

Apr 11, 2009 10:03:39 Actually the Nerf Longshot isn't a sniper rifle, but with a few tweaks, like removing air restrictors, replacing the barrel w/brass, and upgrading the spring, you can get 60+ feet w/o sacrificing accuracy, which is very high.

Uh, I mean, Nerf is for kids!

Not stealth... Intimidate. Trolls aren't really very hidden. On the other hand, they make badly-spelled rants against people and things.
