| #1WebsterDec 10, 2007 23:27:09 | The community Management team has created a new initiative to help the community express their feedback and suggestions regarding the forums. With the large number of forums we have we wanted to implement a way for users to get their feedback to the CM team in an effective manner. Community management believes that the best source of information about a community comes from the community itself, and this program is designed with that principle in mind. Forum leads do not have any moderation powers whatsoever. They do, however, have a direct voice to the WotC Community Management team. They are here to help represent your community. If you have any feedback or suggestions you'd like to see passed along, let them know! Forum Lead Mission statement; Forum leads work as advocates for the community, providing WotC with suggestions and ideas regarding their community, while also helping to provide guidance and help to all forum members, new and old. If you want to know more about the Forum Lead program, or if you have any questions or concerns, please visit the VCL Open Discussion here and let us know. The leads for this forum are: Webster, Zherog If you have any questions, requests, comments, concerns, post them here and we'll make sure the Community Management team knows about it. |

| #3ZherogMar 30, 2008 11:24:49 | Status of Various D&D Forums when 4e Releases Howdy, gang. I wanted to let everybody on this forum know about the discussion going on [thread=983097]in this thread on the Boards Business forum[/thread], discussing the future organization of the D&D Forums for after 4e hits. The thread started off as a discussion just among community members, but starting in post 43, Gamer_Zero - Mike Lescault, the community liaison and the WotC employee who will be proposing the final layout - started posting. Post 43 contains Mike's initial idea, but please read beyond that post before replying because it has changed significantly. This forum will - under the current proposal - continue to exist; also under the current proposal, all all 3e traffic will be moved to the "older versions" forum. Yep - everything 3e will be in one forum, lumped with the 1e and 2e stuff. Your input on the proposal is appreciated by all those involved; if you have a recommendation, please go ahead and post it there. |

Think positive! Don't listen to pessimists like Kursk, who likes to toss the word "vaporware" around at the first sign of delay. If you're like a lot of other gamers here, you're sitting on pins and needles waiting for the Game Table. It promises a lot, but if it's even close to as good as the Character Builder beta is, the Game Table will be amazing! |
