I wonder if they'll cover contracting an assassin?

Feb 12, 2009 17:13:32 Assassins actually play a huge role in my campaign setting (would you believe that many of them are actually Good aligned?) Therefore, I am very excited to see what WotC says about Assassins.

Feb 12, 2009 17:48:38 I am extremely pleased to see WOTC taking a good look at assassins (and hopefully giving them the multi-class only feat treatment), because they're going to be playing a large part in my campaign as well-one of the biggest cities will have a legalized assassins guild that's predominantly unaligned.

What? It keeps the politicians honest! (shamelessly stole the concept from discworld).

In my campaign, the assassin guild is legalized. Political sessions are held between anybody who has power: religious leaders, nobles, guildsmen, etc.. So, needless to say, the wealthy slay the wealthy to get their way.

However, my assassins gaurd an ancient secret-- they slay not because of money, but because it is their sacred task: the blood they gather from the fallen keeps an ancient primordial safely bound!
