Hey Guys,

Does anyone know if Europe has been short changed again on copies of the latest book? My PHB2 was a month late as WOTC didn't send enough copies to the UK and Amazon had insufficient stock.

I preordered my Divine Power with Amazon back in March, and I've just had the dreaded delay message, it's currently delayed by two days but this happened last time untill it eventually turned up a month late...

Weird, I haven't had a message like that yet and I too have pre-ordered from Amazon. They also delivered my EPG on time.

Of course I'm now tempting fate by mentioning this...

Amazon delayed my EPG Copy by a whole month. I de-ordered and bought it for 3 ⁈ more at a local gaming store. Also, when I wanted to order the PHB 2 in June there were none available. I, too, bought it for a bit more at a local gamin store. And I'll ask my cousin if his DP has been delayed yet, heh.

I'm still waiting for my Arcane Power. Good thing that the Character Builder has everything important.:D

That's the thing I've only ordered the book so I don't have to wait till the character builder is updated. If I'm not going to get it beforehand I'll probably cancel my order.

Heh I guess the title could be construed differently to how I intended!

Eh, I personally buy all my 4th ed books from my local gaming store. Support the local stores and whatnot.

I was expecting a thread about the lower level of religiosity in Europe compared to the US. Or maybe the glaring lack of snack foods mysteriously shaped like famous religious figures on this side of the Atlantic.

I'm very disappointed.

OnT: I've found in the past that, when Amazon can't get me a newly-released D&D book, either The Orc's Nest or IGUK usually have some in stock.

When did you order your copy?

I only ordered mine in April, you'd think 4 months in advance would guarantee it for release day...

Problem is, that my "local" gamestore isn't local at all. It takes me about an hour to even get there by car, not to mention the gas cost I'd have. So it wouldn't be worth it to go there for just one book.

Orc's Nest didn't have it this weekend, neither did the nearby FP.

IGUK lists it as ordered and coming in soon, so hopefully we'll see some DP in shops soonish.

That sucks, mine used to be a short 15-20 min walk from my place. Though sadly they've now moved and are too far to walk

I'm getting my copy tomorrow. I'm starting to wonder if Wizards is pulling one over on us. Maybe they feel the longer we wait, the more anticipation there will be for the product.... so they purposely delay the deadline to try and line their pockets with even more money.:P
