Just a general question for the character builder in regards to hybrids

Will there be any support for adding hybrid monks in a near update? And subsequently, hybrid versions of the upcoming Assassin class?

Unlikely. I doubt we'll get hybrid monk, assassin, or artificer until the update that adds PH3 material.

Agreed. The Monk, being a PHB3 class, will have a hybrid versionint hat book (it woudl be silly for the book with the hybrid rules to not include the classes from the same book). The assassin is going to be released this month, so it's unlikely to get a hybrid version until after the PHB3 comes out since the hybrid rules aren't finalized yet, and even then it will be a Dragon article (i.e. not in the PHB3).

So you're going to have to wait for these. (and on an unrelated note, considering some of the ridiculously overpowered hybrid builds I have seen on CharOp, they need to do more tweaking)

All of the preview classes that came out like the Monk and Psion are incomplete. The full classes which include at least 2 class option choices along with the multiclassing and hybrid rules will be available when PH3 comes out.
