Am I crazy? -am I just misinterpreting the known release schedule, and there's probably non-essentials books coming out fall and winter? -am i underestimating the amount of new stuff in the essentials books? -am i being too harsh ignoring Player's Handbook Races thingies? I haven't ever seen the dragonborn one in person, but my friend was really unimpressed by it. -should I count dark sun campaign guide for non-dark sun games? EDIT: winning races is online stuff, silly. |

(And by default.. Revenant and Half-Elves) Essentials books.. Rule Comprendrium is something I think might be a "Gotta get" book, at least one at the table so you can look up a rule on something. 3.5 had something similar, and if I had the printed version, would probally help a lot. Dark sun may or may not be something to add. There is a few other supplement books, but as you are looking for either PHB 4 or a XXX Power book, no. There isn't anything for you coming out. |

Specifically Player Essentials: Heroes of the Forgotten Kingdoms and Player Essentials: Heroes of the Fallen Lands. The Dark Sun campaign guide will also be introducing new races, themes, and I believe several new builds. That puts the number of player books between PHB3 and PHB4(3 generic standard player books, 3 race books, and 1 campaign book) on pace to be equal to or possibly even exceed the number of player books between PHB2 and PHB3(5 generic standard player books, 1 race book, and 1 campaign book). |
