I call out to ye kobold, halflings, gnomes, and goblins out there. Lets have some love for us little people in future supplements =)

1 suggestion... more NON-versatile 1-handed weapons... i mean honestly, you expect me to wield a flail 2 handed? I cant even imagine in my head how you could wield it like that... just looks retar----special. Ok sure I can understand something like a bastard sword or maybe even a longsword because they have a lot of length but something like a morning star or a pick or a flail being "versatile" seems a bit off to me don't you think?

Kobolds are big into mining, wouldn't you think with so many hundreds of generations going by of using picks they know how to use them one handed by now?

Perhaps a simple feat is also in order. Forgive the name...

Little people, big weapon
Requisite: Must be small size.
Benefit: Pick a weapon with the "versatile" property that you are proficient in, you can now use this weapon with one hand without penalty.

Maybe some more of those crazy manuevers that would let you scale up some huge creatures back and such.

Can small creatures even use 2-handed weapons? I never been sure but I think they can.

I remember my first character was going to be a kobold warlord with a war pick, I go into the book thinking "hellz yeah i love this character concept!" I get to the versatile property and my heart just SINKS. So now he uses a scimitar which is really the highest damage 1-handed weapon he can get and its the ONLY one with a d8, everything else non-versatile is d6 or lower, lame.

I proudly use a Goblin rogue with a riding dog...
Because my dm said a goblin rogue with a shortsword would be a bit comical on a full-sized armored war horse.
You should have seen the look on his face when I said I wanted a trained rhino mount (warbeast MM2).

Speaking of 2 handed weapons, am I nuts for thinking a goblin rogue should be able to sneak attack with a spear? (D6 or a D8 or something, it is not game breaking anyway)

I had an idea while reading the small size rules.
There IS a table for weapon dice and how to increase damage for Large weapons.
Why not just do it backwards to create a small weapon? So, a Small Greatsword could be usable by a kobold, only that it does 2d4 instead of a d10.
My guess is that I'm not the first one to come up with this idea, but I think it works (considering you can also change weapon size with the Enchant Magical Item)

No you aren't the first :O this is what was done in 3.5 edition, lol.

I still like my feat idea better.

Yes. The 3.5 vertically challenged people-rules were pretty good IMO ^^

Yes. A feat would be very good. Or, you just play as a bugbear, but change the size to small. XD
