| #2Crimson_ConcertoDec 23, 2009 15:01:34 | You mean if there were more Shifter varieties than there are now? Yeah, that'd be cool. I could totally get behind a Were-Bear. I <3 Bears. |

However, I think trying to pigeonhole Razorclaws into catfolk and Longtooth into Wolfpeople is a bad idea, and the idea of feats spreading them out, so that they can be used for various different concepts is pure golden. We don't need another Shifter subrace, though more Shifter racial feats would be nice. |
| #4hahntsak7Dec 24, 2009 1:07:06 | what about wererat? there aren't any rodent races are there? |
| #5MarandahirDec 24, 2009 7:14:35 | what about wererat? there aren't any rodent races are there? Halflings are as good as ratfolk. heh heh heh |
| #6lizardmageDec 24, 2009 7:44:07 | This is true. Halfings really are no different the rats. They get into hard to reach places, breed like crazy then you have a infestation and your wife is yelling at you "Why did you bring that halfling in the house now I have fleas." It just goes on and on and on and on... ![]() |
| #7Chameleon-XDec 31, 2009 12:49:09 | I actually wouldn't mind more Shifter races, I always wondered why they only had cats and wolves. >_> What about Werebears, Wereboars, Wererats, etc.? They're just as likely to get busy with a human than a Werewolf (or an Elf, for that matter). |
| #8ah_stormbringerJan 01, 2010 5:40:13 | I could handle more shifter races also, I don't play them personally but I don't mind them as a race. |
| #9Alex_Jan 06, 2010 22:28:30 | In my experience, Razorclaw does well enough for any lycanthropic or animal-person race that's represented as being swift, agile, and sneaky. Panthers, foxes, rats, etc can all use the stats. Longtooth works well for more straightoforward or powerful predatory beasts such as wolves, wolverines, tigers etc. What's needed is a Con/Wis race that represents tough brutish animals with thick hides and lots of endurance, like bears or boars. When shifting, they can get a bonus to Fortitude defense and saving throws or grabs, enhanced healing effects, bullrushes, or other related benefits. |

Hey! halflings are my favorite race! gnomes didn't even make phb 1. neither did half orc. they don't carry as many fleas as tieflings do. [more surface area and in those tails - plenty of flea room]. |

Lizardmage, whenever I read this response, I can't stop laughing. It brightens the gloomy days on the Winter Coast of Maine. |
