Manual of the Planes: request

in december, Manual of the Planes will be released.
i looked at the cover and thought one thing: please change the cover art.
i think the art looks to much like 3e.

they changed the art of 4e FRCG, so i expect to see a change in art for the MotP.

Aug 26, 2008 14:11:36 I do not see any resemblence to any 3rd edition books with that cover. That aside, the cover is, I believe, a homage to previous Manual of the Planes(I want to say 1st edition, but I'm not even 100% positive that 1st edition had one).

And the FRCG Drizzt cover was never meant to be the final cover, it was just a placeholder. We have no indication that that is the case with Manual of the Planes.

1st Edition did have a Manual of the Planes, written by Jeff Grubb.
