Hello, Mythic Sovereign, nice to meet you again. Undecided

At least you're looking more Charismatic than last time.

Yeah, it's a rewrite, but an enhanced one.  I like this one better.

Aragorn, anyone?

Looking at the artwork, I'd say more like King Arthur. By way of the Warhammer version (where the Lady of the Lake is an elven goddess - note the pointy ears on that watery tart glowy blue ghost-lady).

Unfortunately, that's going to mean lots of Monty Python jokes whenever anyone takes this epic destiny. At least in my group.

Well who made you king? I didn't vote for a king. The government should be based on a democtratic system, not clandestined aqueous ceremonies. (not exact to close enough)

The minute I saw that picture I thought 'MACBEEEEEETH' what with the Witches technically crowning him and all that.

EDests are supposed to be general, so it could be Aragorn, King Arthur, and Macbeth all at once.  Though, I would say it would be Malcolm rather than Macbeth, because Macbeth was a villain who died, rather than the Once And Future King.

Wow, this ED just got 500% cooler.

Monty Python AND Macbeth? I can't believe I missed both. I think it was the crown design that got me thinking of Return of the King.

I just gotta say that I love the form of immortality that the ED gives you. Sure, you won't live forever like a Demigod or a Darklord, but your legacy might just end up outlasting them all.

And in the words of Mel Brooks, "It's good to be the King."

I'm really happy that this ED isn't lost in an Dragon article and is in physcial form.

Dungeons and Dragons: Come see the violence inherent in the system!

Dungeons and Dragons: Wield supreme power just cause some watery tart threw a sword at you.

Dungeons and Dragons: Where you're never quite dead, and often are getting better.

i liked more the "Mythic" name than the overused "Legendary".
It also would help to avoid confusion in the CB. Will it keep both? Will the Mythic disappear?

Personally I find the charisma a bit dissapointing. Fighters and rangers get nothing, while warlords and paladins get a reasonable boost. Why didn't they make it Charisma OR Wisdom? The wise ruler is an archtype just as much as the charismatic ruler, and at least Wisdom is more useful to rangers and fighters.
