No support for Warforged fighters?

And Shifters also get no support for a group of classes that makes sense  for them.

More crazy spear feats.

Reslience of Stone is amazing for Dwarves, even more amazing for Wardens though.

Remember, these exclude the Heroic Tier class-specific feats, as well as the Epic tier ones.

While there's no support amongst Paragon Tier feats for Warforged, it's possible they could have Heroic Tier feats.

A feat for an extra inspiring word... ok. That's more or less a must have.

And this:

Barreling Charge    —    Charge to adjacent square with reach weapon

Great. A feat to allow you to do something you should be able to do anyways. Instead of rewriting the charging rules to make sense, add in a feat to allow reach weapons basic functionality allowed to other weapons.

And thus begins another long wait, this time for Primal Power 2, as Martial classes once again dominate the playing field.  I feel so sorry for those who like Psionics.

Yeah, it makes sense for them to go in order, but at least bunch the releases closer together so the advantage is short-lived!

*Facepalm* I missed that one.  What, Warlords didn't have enough healing before?  Never mind that it's not a healing-centric class...until now.  Blatant power creep was my exact concern, and this one can't even be elegantly fixed through errata (I guess you could make it a Daily power, like comparable M/C feats).  Perhaps I'm overreacting, but it seems like Martial classes get these powerful new goodies, and by the time the other power sources get their splatbooks, the developers have realized that they might have over-done it, and tone the "later" classes down.

There's a reason why so many characters pick up a Fighter M/C to poach feats and PP's.

Yeah...I don't usually complain this much...I think it's time to call it a night...

We have a warlord and a cleric in our party. The cleric has numerous wonderful feats and powers to choose from to enhance his healing. He even heals himself surgelessly every time he heals someone else.

It is nice to have a bone thrown to the warlord. (It is too bad that it is in the form of a "must-have"feat, as someone else pointed out. But our Tactical Warlord will certainly train therein.)

There's a feat that allows it to do damage... So I guess this will let you do even more damage.

Besides, who says that they've listed all the paragon-tier feats in that article?

I really like the feat "Martial Dilettante" for Half-Elves.  While it's rendered useless at 11th level by Versatile Master, it's an excellent heroic tier feat until then.  Twice usage of the Half-Elf Dilettante power brings it into more usage when you need it.

However, I'm pretty sure that when they say "Any Class" in this excerpt article, they mean "Any Martial Class" considering that Martial Practices are included within the feat group, and the feat is "Martial Dilettante."  Why can't this be a power for ANY Half-Elf?

...to give the impression of "martial power is combat style, thus more versatile than others" they want from some new feats

is a new theme for martial classes, and they want it as special gift to them, thus these options are in MP2 and don't in PHB3

I really like this idea: they are using a quite numbers of combat styles for new builds but not new classes => martials are versatile

think about the fighters in light armor and the warlord with bows: I think we'll see much more of these choices "give some and get some" so you don't burn feats for a warlord with bows (or heavier armors, or a plated fighter...)

esides, I like the feats about weapons (picks, spears, staffs) that empower your basic attack so it will be powerful as an at-will attack (martial versatility again: quite a one more at-will) except the one who gives you +2 damages with maces just for basic attacks: doesn't hep maces to be happy used
I can see more place for maces for rogues, but this is a feat for all martial classes (we'll se the new options about maces in manual)

ending opinion: I like the martial practices, I really like it
so, if they put in the old skill-like "make fake documents" and "evaluate trasure" I hope there will be a chapter for specific equipment, where to find also the new weapons (yep, I would like to see garrota, blowgun, bola, whip, net printed in a manual and not only for the Insiders)

Do note however  that the Tactical Warlord is perhaps the worst healer of the current Warlord builds, their focus is more on granting attacks and attack bonuses.

But think how long it took for the other power books to come out.  NONE of them came out a mere 5 months later.

I sincerely hope that there are a lot of Eb-race feats, particularly as 2 out of the 3 races in the book jive extremely well with several martial classes (Warforged anything, really; Changeling Rogue at the very least).

There are must so many "good fit" concepts to work with since MP1 that the lists previewed are just... deficient.

But as another has said, hopefully even the lists that are shown aren't the full lists.

Righteous Brand is very powerful, but fortunately, a Tactical Warlord offers many other bonuses, so he does not feel outclassed in this aspect at least. The action point bonuses do not require the warlord to hit.

Nonetheless, the point that clerics can give bonuses almost as well as a warlord, means to me that this feat is needed to enable a warlord to do something almost as well as a cleric.

You called me on it.  I could have sworn PH1 was a May release, but it was June (all of them were June); making Psionic Power follow suit exactly as MP1 did.  While Primal Power wasn't like this, at least it was 7 months later.

I was somewhat disappointed by the feats shown in that there were several feats for beast rangers, bow rangers have been built up the last couple of articles, and pretty much nothing for two-weapon rangers. Sure there are a couple of general feats, but little that does much to really build them up. Also, nothing at all shown for the eladrin. There have been feats that employ the Fey Step power of the eladrin for several classes, but not the ranger. Perhaps the eladrin is felt as too cosmopolitian to often be a ranger? Or the two-weapon ranger felt to already have enough to work with?

Anyways, just a few gripes and also I know that those were only half the feats. So here's to hoping for the other half. And that the martial practices might be really interesting.

Well, for the bard and sorcerer it was like what...  one month? Two months? While the Artificer still didn't see any support besides the EPG (that's been 7 months now and no AP2 in sight) and some lacking Dragon articles. Guess that's why they won't release any classes with Dark Sun.

Third build of Artificer (Warrior Forge Artificer) is in Dragon, as you said.  However, I would say the article was good, though it lacked extra powers for the other two builds.  Hopefully we'll see a reprint of Warrior Forge in AP2, along with a fourth build and more powers for all three released builds.

I like the Warrior Forge Artificer, but god forbid they waste the space in AP2 on it.  Either have just one new build and lots of options for it and the other three, or a second new one, but don't just regurgitate Dragon material into AP2.

See, these worry me, because then people start getting the idea that if you don't have the martial practice for 'disguise' you can't do it.  Star Wars SAGA has this problem with Force powers, and it's symptomatic of a form of thinking that is endemic to option-rich games like D&D, which I would prefer not to see cropping up at my table (on either side of the screen).
