Unknown at present, but I'd wager 'probably'.

Okay, now I know what I'm going to use for my next wizard's Orb.

Well the appendix in the 1st monster manual was humanoid races for use as NPC's. But with CAUTION a GM could allow them as PC's.

But if there are Humanoid monsters in MMII then you will likely see the NPC appendix again.
