1: tower shields were originaly in (pic 29) the picture in the book is only the bottom half of the original
2: there was a backpack/neck item that gave flight (pic 53) looks like a pair of artificial wings on a dwarf
3:Jaraxle's eye patch (pic 9)
4:possibly a bag of devouring (pic 52)

I know these are just my own speculation, but man I wish tower shields were still in.

I would love to see the pictures in the gallery however I keep getting a server error

Tower shields would be nice, as would bucklers and kote (armored sleeves). Easy enough to design, too:

Tower Shield: As heavy shield, but -3 Armor Check Penalty. Spend a feat and gain a +3 bonus to AC and Reflex vs. Ranged Attacks and reduce the Armor Check Penalty to -2.

Buckler: +1 to AC but not Reflex. Can be removed and applied with a minor action instead of a standard action.

Kote: +1 to AC but not Reflex. You can wield weapons in either hand normally, but only gain the AC bonus when one hand is empty.
