And in particular here are all the Multiclass feats, with a few surprises.

Sorcerer multiclass does not give any power and grants damage to any one attack per encounter including normal melee, while Shaman gives many things, and Druid lets you have wild shape completely. See yourself.
All the rest is more or less what I had expected.

Here are the Shaman, Sorcerer, and Warden specific heroic feats.
And here are the remaining class specific heroic feats.
Of course only a few full descriptions are caught in the photos.

Ho my...! That's BIG!

"you can use XXX implements."

Mean, no more limit to use MC implements on MC class powers only.

- The Warden MC laugh in face to the Fighter MC all day.

- The Barbarian MC give a ...+2 dmg until the end of the encounter? That's another big one.

Assuming WotC remains consistent, 'you can use X implements' means you can use them for powers of class X. A Cleric multi'd into Swordmage cannot use a sword with his cleric powers.

It was clarified by a recent Sage answer, too.
People, really, each class has its implements. It's a feature, not deficiency. It gives a degree of uniqueness, it's supported by magic item properties, it's flavorful, and it doesn't hinder multiclassing, stop whining with the "but then I have to buy 2 implements!!" thing.

It's the Marvin the Martian rage!

I'm really surprised that the druid feat gives unrestricted Wild Shape. I was not expecting that.

I think that there should be a (non-class-specific) multi-class feat that allows you to weild implements from either class. I think that would be a nice balance between what we have, and what we want.

I am loving the Druid and Shaman MC feats.

Druid for the "Yes, I'm a rogue. I can also turn into an otter." Or "I am a slime being, and I can change my shape!" Or "Hello, my name is Bob, and I'm a were-naked mole rat."

A little touch of cosmetic shapeshifting for everyone.

Shaman for the "I am a rogue. And this is my magical cat companion." Or "The dead people, I sees them. And they help me." Or "When Captain Fluffles died, I used the tome in the library to make sure we'd never be apart. Say hello, Captain."

Familiars for everybody! :D

Now a Ranger/Shaman can actually have 2 pets, material and spiritual one... And in his move action, 3 miniatures move in possibly different directions...

Dragoncat, what worries me is that now so many characters will be half druid or half shaman just because it's cool. Well, I guess I shouldn't worry, it's them who are possibly not going to have the satisfactions that only a deep character can give...

Hmm, never seemed that way to myself; I've been letting multiclass PC's choose ED's related to specific classes, provided they met the prerequisites of course. It seemed perfectly reasonable provided the way PP's worked, so I've always allowed it. Heh, funny this that comes out now and suddenly everyone's excited about it; I guess some people just prefer to some kind of written rule before they go ahead and do anything in regards to something like this.

Many (most?) people have been doing it that way, but the RAW versus RAI arguments about it have been fairly bitter. Nice to know that it's resolved.

Now, let's see how that TW ranger/pit fighter/undying warrior who spends all day bloodied and fighting with battlecrazed war axes works out.

No matter how many ways I tweek it, it looks like character and 2 pets is the limit in game. Either Ranger (Animal Companion) + Shaman MC, or Arcane Caster + Familar Feat + Shaman MC. 3 minis at max...until you factor in Arcane Summons for Wizards. So +1 temp more.

So max 'pet' build will be Wizard + Familar Feat + Shaman MC + Summons.

1 Character + 2 perm pets + 1 temp pet. Way better than 3.X's "Say hello to my army in a wand" mess.

Well a Bard could try to pick up one of the many "Knights of" powers from the cleric. Like the utility that puts down 4 Knight's of Unyielding Valor to be obstacles.

If you're simply talking about minis you can move around on an encounter board the Bard with his multiple Multiclassing powers is going to win every time.

As for his effectiveness....

Yeah, the best I can come up with for a bard would be something like this: start ranger with a pet, multiclass shaman for a spirit companion, obtain a familiar, then cast three daily spells that all summon a group of creatures and then spend all three actions per turn sustaining them.

Fortunately that would be stupid, so don't expect it anytime soon in a game near you.

No can do. You can only have one of those bad guys down at a time, and the Cleric drops are considered 1, not a group.

I can see the Barbarian MC feat being a new staple on most optimized builds...

Though personally I'm loving the Druid one. I mean- it straight up GIVES you their most fun class feature. Now if you want your caster Druid to have more of a Divine Flavor- use the Invoker base class. Or cleric. It allows you to change function/power source while still having all the shifty goodness:D

As for the limit of 2 pets... all it takes is a (hypothetical) PMC feat in Arcane Power, that lets someone who PMCs to Bard get Multiclass Versitility.

Then you could have a beastmaster PMC Bard, grab the feat, then pick up a Familiar, a Spirit companion, and while you're at it, shapeshifting to join your own pack. Total cost, 8 feats.

I'm not saying that the Druid multiclass isn't awesome for roleplaying/fluff/out of combat reasons, but the beast form at-will that you get is an encounter power. So it's really only feasible to stay wild shaped for one round in a given encounter (assuming you don't have any power swap feats). You won't even be able to take OA's if you've already used your beast for "at-will".

There are ways around it, for example the Star of Corellon holy symbol which can be used as an implement for all arcane powers

but it isn't really an issue, each class has their own implements, if you don't like it, then don't m/c

Yes, it's nice. Not quite as nice as it could be for paladin or swordmage, since 'marked' isn't the same as 'marked by paladin's challenge' or by whatever the swordmage marking ability is called.

We saw what seemed a full write-up in the pre-calculated character sheet of the 3rd level elf sorcerer that was playable in one of the events.
I had started a thread about it, since it's what makes Sorcerer my second favorite class after Bard...

Awesome. Thanks much. Although the requirement of using ranged attacks is giving me a tough time picking which element to go with for my Dragon Soul. For fluff's sake I'm going with Prince of Hell for my ED, which means going fire until epic is pointless...

Actually, you can! When Arcane Power comes out and you can take the feat for Familiars...wait might not work. I forgot the whole feat thing. You could start as a ranger, take the multi-feat for shaman, but then you couldn't take the multifeat for bard to qualify as an arcane class for the familiar feat. Well maybe someone will work out a way.

Honestly the druid and shaman or probably the most fruitful MC feats in terms of what you get for taking them. I think it'd be cool to be a non-companion class and take the multi feat for shaman to gain a spirit companion. Or the druid's wildshape, screwed as it is, would be neat. A Barbarian that can shift into a raging bear. Haha, I like it.

Haha they're not mine. It happens the one who made them is even here in the forums, a guy living in Japan, where the book has already been shipped by amazon.co.jp.

He could be reading this thread right now and maybe answer the question, but he's already very busy answering on the rpgnet forums. Here's a link to the thread. And enjoy the 50+ pages of it..!

I think a rogue could really benefit from the Druid multi, even without a good Wisdom score.

You move in, attack with CA and then use that minor that's you're not really using to end your turn by Wildshaping.

Next turn you start by turning back to normal and get a free shift! Its like turning any Rogue into a Kobold XD
