We’re proud to announce, along with our partners at Cryptic and Perfect World, the forthcoming third free expansion module for Neverwinter: Curse of Icewind Dale.

It has caused me to boycott the D&D brand until Wizards of the Coast holds Cryptic/Perfect World Entertainment accountable for what they've done. More information about why this game is so terrible and you should avoid it like the spellplague can be found in this thread.

Also, you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to dupe hardcore D&D fans into buying into this SCAM just because it has a nostalgic name that invokes memories of actually good games like Neverwinter Nights or Icewind Dale. You must be a paid shill, because I honestly don't know any true D&D fans who liked that game, and the internet has known for a while now that it isn't worth a troglodyte's excrement. |

You can technically grind those Astral Diamonds up for free by playing the numerous exploitive Daily Quests that pollute the Foundry, BUT it will take an absurd amount of time to grind up enough Astral Diamonds to unlock fifteen minutes of content. I'm talking about grinding for a month to play a generic 15 minute themepark dungeon where the only boss mechanics will inevitably be, "Spawn more adds!" So yeah, FREE, I guess, in the loosest sense of the word. Cryptic/PWE are great at hyping up their product, but trust me, they won't deliver on their promises. |
