| #1bloddsbaneMay 27, 2009 11:21:35 | I'm not sure if I can post this here but here I go. I was going through my buddies 2ed books a noticed a book about castles. I was wondering if you think or know if they are planning to make a version for 4E. The reason I was asking because the game I'm DMing, The players wanted to build a stronghold. But I told them they had to be atleast lvl6. They are lvl4. I was hopping this time would give me time to find out info on, castle building.. |

| #4bloddsbaneMay 27, 2009 12:00:26 | I hope the DMGII has something about. I guess I could use my buddies 2E book, and adjust the prices.. Thanx for the info |
| #5Seeker95May 27, 2009 13:54:12 | You wouldn't have to adjust the prices. A gold piece has always been a gold piece in D&D, with the only major price change being the cost of plate mail from one edition to another. |

Same goes for any of the other various incarnations of these rules that have come along over the years. The only things that really don't exist anymore are rules for followers and henchmen and such. All of that stuff was pretty abstract and can easily be adapted to 4e if you're so inclined. 4e does have a different style of mechanics for non-combat sorts of stuff, so it might make more sense to recast it in terms of the newer rules systems, but that should be pretty straightforward as well. |

I bought the book when it originally came out and still regret selling it. |
