As we know, Fighters get the Brawler Style feature replacing Fighter Weapon Talent. Warlords, as we know, can choose either Skirmishing Warlord or Insightful Warlord. What we didn't know is that they can replace Combat Leader with either Battlefront Leader or Canny Leader (two new options for Warlord Leadership). This mirrors the new Combat Agility Fighters can choose instead of Combat Superiority. Frankly, I like this move, because it gives new options other than just pick the build and the corresponding class feature. The Summoner Druid did something similar (being powers ANY build could use). Rangers can choose one of two new Fighting Styles, the Hunter Fighting Style, or the Marauder Fighting Style. They also have this new feature that can replace Prime Shot, called Running Attack. Both are listed under a new Ranger feature, called Ranger Combat Talent. Rogue's don't seem to be getting another "brawny"-esque build like the Brawny or Cutthroat; the Hybrid article only mentioned those two builds being used in tandem with the Fighter for Hybrid options. This implies the new Rogue build(s) is/are less brute strength and more guile/smartness. Like a Wis or Int build. Oh, and Rogue's can choose Sharpshooter Talent instead of Rogue Weapon Talent for their Rogue Combat Talent. This is delicious. All in all, I would like to point out and emphasise that they seem to be emphaising the "Combat Talent" element to Martial Classes in MP2. Each class can choose between more than just the feature associated with their build, but also choose between various Combat Talents. These might also have some connection with the new builds too. |

Barbarian still has only strength, constitution, and charisma listed even though there's a dexterity build in Primal Power. Bards don't list wisdom, Shamans don't have dexterity, and Wizards have neither constitution nor charisma, even though that's the designated secondary for at least one official build. They seem to just limit it to the abilities used when the class was introduced. |

Seeing the Debut article myself, I was disappointed about that. Because it's not like Dex-Shamans or Dex-Barbarians don't exist. It's just that it's slightly misinformation. |
