#1 metaisthetike Sep 16, 2009 3:10:47	It was hinted at a little in this Gen Con article, but I'm curious as to when we'll see new FAQs / official errata. It makes sense that they would do this as little as possible, as to release it in large quantities, but there remain several elements of the game that need attention (and have needed it for a long time), whether they are issues recognized by developers (see article) or those made note of in the heavily debated errata section (eg, bloodclaw weapons). Dragon Annual was printed with changes to at least two things, reaper's touch and Punisher of the Gods, yet this was not officially announced anywhere or not even updated in the compendium. Furthermore, no bug fixes were made for this month's patch of the Character Builder, and there's virtually no new content (book-wise, anyway) that will be added to next month's update. For some reason, all of this makes me think (or hope) that we're going to have some shiny new errata soon that will be (relatively) quickly reflected in a less buggy version of the Character Builder.
#2 Marandahir Sep 16, 2009 20:28:39	They announced the updates in the Intro page to the Dragon Annual, but they really didn't make a big deal about it.  So yeah.  We kind of need an update in the Compendium and Builders.  That'll probably come next month, since that's when they update the material from new books (the month after), including higher priority material than previous (like turning monster races into Player Races, etc). I know Dragon Annual came out last month, but the Editorial Calendar says this month, which means that the material won't go into the compendium until October.

#4 Herrozerro Sep 22, 2009 10:47:53	About the Dragon Annual comment, the book isnt even slated to be released this month, it has been out in stores a month before it is supposed to be released.  Compenduim is generally not updated until the month after the book is released.  So there is no "issue"

To make it more clear, I wasn't trying to say there was an issue, merely that I'm a little giddy with excitement at what I feel must be impending errata that will hopefully balance the game out a little more. Adjusting things in a house game has never been a problem for me, but it's nice to see the designers' response to community feedback.
#8 ranadiel Sep 23, 2009 19:01:50	Many forum goers already know about that page. My complaint is that it has not been updated in two months. When there are still glaring issues with how many things work. I never said that was an answer to your complaint. I was responding to another comment that I thought was complaining that you could only get the errata through D&Di and saying it should be available as pdfs. As I specifically quoted that post, I'm uncertain as to why you think I was directing that comment towards you.
#9 metaisthetike Sep 23, 2009 20:36:20	In case anyone hasn't noticed - AV2, DMG2, and PP all now have errata sections on the errata forums. I take this as a good sign.
