Just seen the latest Penny Arcade update. New podcast is on the way - http://www.penny-arcade.com/2009/6/29/

Specifically - We're about to record the next D&D podcast, if you're interested in that kind of thing. If the last session was any indicator of future performance, wish me luck.

Woo hoo.

Wonder if they will have a differenet guest or (hopefully) if it will be the 4 from the last one + another (fingers crossed for Vin Diesel)

Hope we get to hear the release date soon.

Maybe they will add a fifth player, one to play an experimental class just like Wil was brought in with the Avenger.

Hopefully, they will focus a little more on them playing the game properly too. :P

They were having fun. That is *exactly* the way to play D&D.

I know, I really didn't care, I was laughing hysterically the whole time, but some people on the boards kinda freaked out at the fact they weren't playing the game 100% according to the rules.

I am really looking forward to it. The first two were absolutely hilarious, and I have no doubt this one will be as well.

Maybe Vin will play a monk. :P

on second thought poor chris might go nuts trying to keep them on plot...

But does Robin Williams even play?

Vin's an awesome grab just because even though he's a "cool action star", he's really just a nerd who's been roleplaying for years and years.

Robin Williams also has a tendency to.... dominate.... the conversation whenever he's being interviewed. Sure, the jokes would be non-stop, but they tend to be less everyone playing off of eachother, and more him going off on ever-divergent tangents.

Except that he isn't funny. At all. Ever.

Though, I do like him in many of his movies…where he's not all coked up.

I don't quite get from that news post that they necessarily played a one-shot at WotC that was recorded and will be broadcast.

But, Scott Kurtz is in Seattle right now. Anyone know Wil Wheaton's whereabouts?

Interestingly, Nathan Fillian was in Seattle this weekend. Coincidence?

Alas, probably.

I know from following Wil on Twitter that Aeofel has been seeing some action here and there, so I know he's at least still playing.

That suggests that it's going to be put up on WOTC

My vote is for Felicia Day, I'm sure Wizards doesn't want to get the "No Girl Gamers" sterotype blowback. That and she's freakin' HOT

I know who is going to be added to the D&D Podcast. Gabe explains it best here.

Actually, I think Porkfry is going to be the new player, or one of the new players. Gabe drew a portrait of his character on his DA Account, though, on second thought, that may have just been for the game Gabe's running.
