| #3outlaw68Sep 27, 2008 5:51:22 | Is there even going to be a DMG 2? Doesn't seem like there'd be much point to it. I had heard that all three core rule books will have yearly releases.. i suppose it would be a good way to introduce new concepts for using existing rules.. for example different skill challenges, or to add more DM use items like templates for the new classes, Poisons, diseases etc, possibly even introducing new environment rules (why release a Stormwrack type of book when the rules could go into the DMG 2) Also rules for building NPC's with the new classes presented in the books.. not to mention the wealth of DMing tips that can be released with each one.. |

PHB 2, Arcane power, Eberron player's guide, Divine power and maybe MM2. i don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing that i see 5 books in 7 months that i would want to buy. |

| #7JohnLynchSep 30, 2008 0:08:16 | Well I tried my hand at DMing and wasn't very successful so I've switched over to playing as a player with one of my players taking the reins of DMing. As such the only books I have an interest in are: * PHB2 - Because I'm playing a gnome (using the MM entry). * Arcane Power - Because I'm playing a wizard. * Eberron Player's Guide - Because the campaign is in Eberron. If my character dies its quite possible I'll not buy the first two books. Quite a bit different to being a DM. |

May: Player's Handbook II Power Cards. # July: Seekers of the Ashen Crown (adventure). # July: DDM miniatures (with Huge figures, such as the frost titan). # August: Adventurer's Vault 2. # August: Revenge of the Giants super-adventure (boxed, including tokens for all monsters needed to play the adventure; an homage to Against the Giants). # August: Arcane Power Cards. |
| #9DigitalMageSep 30, 2008 5:58:46 | I would be curious to flip through a copy of the Eberron books to see how much new "fluff" there is (if any) over and above what was in all the 3.5 books. As I don't play 4th ed I wouldn't be interested in the "crunch" aspects. |
