| #1MoradinsZornFeb 21, 2009 3:30:19 | Hi Boardies, i was looking arround to see how the official Power Cards will look like, but could not find information on that. I'm hoping that they will not be the ones provided also by the Char Builders... Anyone has some decent information on this ? Cheers, Zorn |
| #2doctorhookFeb 21, 2009 12:15:34 | Hi Boardies, The only thing I can add is that I completely agree. The Character Builder's cards are pretty sucky; the only thing they've got going for themselves is that they're super easy to make, because the program creates them for you. |

There are some power cards on top of the character sheet Green at wills, Red encounter and a black daily and some are turned over and kinda look like the CB cards. These might be early editions but this might be what they are going with. If so I'm a little disappointed, I was hoping for some cool art work and entirely different design from the CB style. Anyway this the closest thing I've seen as far as the cards go. |
| #7MoradinsZornFeb 22, 2009 18:20:13 | Thanks for all your input. I have seen some "official" cards also on some adds, but i will be deeply disappointed, if the cards are similar to the ones already seen (Adds, CB, etc.) Having awesome fanmade cards out there i see no reason at all to spend money on the official ones. With books its different, because you want the information in it, not the style (its secondary, if at all). But I know already all information the cards will give me, so its all about playability and style. I hope they realized that at WotC. I'm curious why no layout examples have been shown, with all the other informations released on future products. Cheers, Zorn |
