Feb 28, 2009 19:12:52 I was rereading the 4th ed DMg today and in it they said to speed up combat, have the condintions and the effects of them listed on index cards and you can put them in front of the players when they are under those condintions.

How about if WOTC come out with a deck of condintion cards just like the power cards they are coming out with?
It would just need to be one deck, each condintion would have like 4-5 cards in case more then one player has the same condition at the same time. Charge like $9.99.

Would anyone else buy it?

Of have your players bookmark the page in their PHBs (one of the named tabs in the Deluxe PHB is meant to go on the conditions page. THere is another for attack mods, and cover/concielement)

One of the handy thing it includes is a copy of the conditions chart from the PH, which is really handy because if I need to see what a condition does (or if a player asks), I simply look to my right and there it is!

For around $10, it's a pretty useful product.

Mar 01, 2009 0:18:17 The cheap solutions aren't bad, but I'd buy something like this, especially if it were bundled with some sort of condition markers that were visually distinct and easily used with minis. Right now my group is using small poker chips to mark all sorts of things, but cards would be a neat addition. And more colors/varieties of chips would be just fine too. The price would have to be around the $10 point to make sense in competition with doing things the really cheap way.
