| #1bartmoss_ukMar 31, 2009 11:31:24 | Anyone know what the situation is with the PHB2 in the UK? My local Waterstones checked and tell me it isnt published until today, the 31st of March. Is this the case? If so, why? Surely it just exacerbates the problems of piracy to have a niche book like this get staggered worldwide release dates, especially considering friends of mine managed to aquire a PDF fo it off the net within in mere hours of the US release. They didn't seem to be in short supply, either. Generally, the release date here is the same as the US date. Somethimes shipments are delayed, however, and I know some retailers were having trouble getting a hold of PHB2s. Amazon in particular had to delay, so it's possible that Waterstones also suffered the same. |

I noticed Play.com and Amazon.co.uk are out of stock as well, Im going to have a devil of a time getting it! I want my incredibly sub-optimal halfling Barbarian!! ;) Si |

That's odd, I ordered my copy from gamesparadise.com.au and it arrived the day after the release date. It was only late because the couriers went to the wrong address on March 17th. I also have a player in my group that picked his copy up not long after they came out. Where are you looking? I'm in Melbourne, BTW. |
| #6Mist-BoundMar 31, 2009 18:14:01 | I mail-ordered my copy from a Games Workshop store in Toowoomba (very reliable; I bought the core trinity, Manual of the Planes, Open Grave, Draconomicon 1, and the Forgotten Realms CS and PHB there) and paid several weeks in advance. I live in a town called Charleville, about 7 hours drive west of Toowoomba. They had a bit of a delay with the PHB, DMG and MM as well, though, so I'm hopeful it'll show up this week. |
