Player's Options: Heros of the Elements or PHB4:Elemental, X,X

Jul 10, 2010 21:23:32 So as I have no real love/desire for the shadow power source, (Hell, I'd rather just see a Necromancer wizard build) I am throwing the question out on what you think the Elemental Power Source book will be.

Do you think we will be getting a PHB at that point, or will the Essential's title (Player Options) stay leaving us with just the PHB3 as the final book in that series?

I think we will see "Heroes of" books in March introducing new power sources and we will see "Power" books the following October with additional builds for the classes introduced in the March "Heroes of" books.

They just changed the name. IMO, it sound better to do "Hero's of Shadows" rather then "Players Handbook Shadows". PHB3 could of easily been named "Hero's of Psyionics", though the ruinpriest would of been a bit of an oddity there.

I'm seeing Player's Options: Heroes of X as the new version of the Player's Handbook line as well, though focusing specifically on a Power Source.

I dunno what they're going to do after 2012, though. They'll have to think up new Power Sources. Given WotC's imagination, I'm sure they can do it!

That, or they can focus on releasing more kits for more classes.

Dunno why i don't seem to remember that class exsists. I actually like it too.
