There's too much page flipping otherwise – back and forth between the main progression and the build progressions, mostly (at least, for Mage, Warpriest, Cavalier, and Hexblade). |

I have printable pdf ones if I ever get rid of my DDI account I seem to remember this to be the essential case. Regardless, the essential format in which classes and their powers are now presented in 4E since Essentials, it's essentially essential for the players to use power cards. There's too much flipping otherwise. Essentially, I think the essential idea is essentially to get people subscribing. Essentially. |
| #6doppelgangerNov 24, 2010 6:56:59 | Maybe they could release all powers for each of the Heroes books in one big set instead of breaking them into a bunch of individual character sets like they did for the Player's Handbook classes. Fourteen dollars for a single class's powers was a terrible price (although I did buy several of them, I complained a lot and didn't get all of them). |
| #7Sea-EnvyNov 24, 2010 22:21:43 | There is always the cheap or at least non electronic opption and use 3x5 note cards. I buy them in multi colored packs GREEN- at wills RED- encounter BLUE- dailies as it is close enough YELLOW- non class powers and actions like move/run and 2nd wind |
| #8murrquanNov 26, 2010 1:32:00 | There's also these! You can buy just the cards for like half the price. I bought some, and I haven't actually used them yet but they feel very high quality. The front half isn't laminated, so that it'd be easier to use a pencil on them I imagine. |
