When will all the Primordials and Deitites be mentioned, give statistics, have a full background and lore as well as how to kill them? I have been able to make a slew of full, through 30th level campaigns on the relationship of Orcus and the Raven Queen as well as some for Vecna.
Will there be a book for this? Or will it be as it has been, releasing a deity for some related books slowly and primordials in dragon magazine?

This stuff is really useful to any DM and makes greater use of the planes.

Yeah, most of us haven't got to 30th our first time... ;)

Neither have I. Not even 6th for that matter. But I have a campaign that will run that long, partially because of what I learned from the books with that kind of stuff in it.

I'm thinking that there won't be a book for just deities or primordials, but that as each plane is explored (such as the upcoming Plane Below which details the Elemental Chaos) we will see the most relevant powers (like Primordials, Efreet, Djinn, Demon lords etc.) fleshed out.
The Astral Sea would cover the Deities and their Domains, Archdevils and others, maybe demiplanes.
The Feywild would cover Archfey and the Courts, Eladrin Demenses, Formorians and such.
The Shadowfell could examine the Domains of Dread, Shadar-kai kingdoms, Death giant domains, the Raven Queen, etc.

Oh, cool. I didn't know they were coming out. I should be more observant.

Given their decision to not stat Bane (because his stats would be too powerfull to be usefull for lvl 30 PCs) I don't think we'll get the more powerfull gods/primordials in the near future

I can't shake the feeling I recall something mentioned about a series of Dragon Articles or something, dedicated to Deities and such. But I'm too lazy to go look into it right now. Lawl.

Dieties and Demigods. The first article in the series came out last month and covered Bane, although it lacked any stats for him.

Stats for Deities and other epic level threats don't seem to have a central home - thery're all over.

You've got info on Bane (but no stats) in Dragon, where you'll also find demon princes like Yeenoghu (statted), Arch Devils (statted) and primoridals, like Mual-Tar (statted). There's also extra info on Orcus and Baphomet and they're gonna do ArchFey in the Court of Stars.

In Open Grave you got the god Vecna (statted) and other notable BBEGs; in MM you got Orcus & his exarch; in Draconomicon you got Tiamat (statted) and some other big dragon names; and in MM2 you'll Demogorgon.

I'm guessin' the only place you'll find all these epic dudes together is the compendium.

I agree looking at the stat blocks for the setting's mightiest entities can be fun. However, power creep in the rules can quickly dilute the mystique of any that are published. If the how to kill Orcus solo on one foot threads that came out within weeks of 4E's release are any indicator, Stats for Gods and Primordials are probably best reserved until all the power sources get classes.

Of course by that time, 4.5 will be looming....

To assume makes an...well, it wouldn't be ladylike to say, but I'm sure you can figure it out.

I would like to know, WHY someone would want this book??

if one was to be released it would be the CORE primoridials and deities.

which would be worthless when it comes to playing in:
Dragonlance
The Forgotten Realms
Darksun
Greyhawk
Eberron
etc...

it would do better instead of making a book of this and all, it would do better to make a manual of the planes 4e, which they already did, and make PDF files for sell for about 5 bucks that has the gods and primordials in them.

of course if anybody has a better idea
