Is it typical for WOTC to only put products in their catalog through the end of the calendar year? Does anyone know when the 2012 products typically get announced?

Standard operating procedure has been to reveal the release schedule for the next six months in late November / early December and late May / early June. We usually get some hints on what will be coming out in the next half of the year a little before then (for example, we know that the Heroes of the Planes Below is scheduled for February 2012).

Good to see a new book and I think it is splendid that Matt James is one of the authors. But… a dungeon handbook? I hope it is a book with new options for players, including new equipment, mundane items, and such, but also new themes and builds. Because this book sounds more like the last books WotC published when 3rd edition was ending, such as Players Guide to Eberron, that contain mostly fluff stuff.
