#1 Sonja Dec 05, 2008 7:02:14	Will they be reprinting the 3 core books with all the updates and errata? It's annoying to have to keep track of so many changes. I'd rather just buy a corrected book. Or download official stickers I can print out to perfectly cover the pre-updated books and fix all the changed rules. I think it's the least Wizards could do to help us play the changed rules in the books we bought, since they have the graphic designers to make perfect paste-ups to patch the book. Sonja

#3 The_Jester Dec 05, 2008 10:53:21	When they do a second or third printing of the PHB they might. They're probably waiting for more errata and changes first and for sales of the deluxe editions to wane. But they probably also know that if they release and errata-ed new printing many, many fans are going to complain about "being forced to buy a second copy" and the like, and the people requesting new copies are much quieter. There's also the argument that 4e is not selling well, so a new reprinted version of the book might not be profitable. But since WotC does not release sales information there's no way to collaborate this.
#4 Sonja Dec 05, 2008 11:09:29	They could make stickers PDF available for free though. Easy to print out on Avery sticker paper and then physically cut and paste over the paragraphs of the book to update.

They haven't even updated the core books in 4 months and haven't issued any errata for the other books since then. Their attitude is likely: just buy a D&DInsider subscription and use the Compendium.

It might have been different months/regularity, its been a while since they wrote about it Maybe. But considering they had an initial update in June followed by a second update in early August with no errata since (ie no errata in September) I'd say that's not likely. But early Feb is six months from August so maybe, but there's alot of mistake and new books that will have been out for a while since then...
#12 Elemental_Elf Dec 07, 2008 13:43:25	If there was a profit to be made with it, like there is with the Power cards, then WotC would do it. Unfortunately, if the Druid from 3.5 is any indication, the errata will be changed multiple times, as time passes, meaning you'd have to buy NEW Stickers, each time. Still, I'd buy the stickers if they were like 5-ish bucks.

#14 ekko Dec 07, 2008 15:19:34	Solution - make PDF stickers available for subscribers. They get a profit, and we (the subscribers) get our sticker. It's probably the best way to do this, but I doubt even that will happen.
