So Amazon.com and several other sites list this "Super Adventure" as being level 12-17, though it looks like the cover here says level 14-17.  I'm just curious if we know which is correct.

I wasn't able to find a definate level for the adventure on Wizard's site.

One sentence:

Cover trumps Amazon.

And yet it is advertized as a "Super Adventure" with a $40 price point, as opposed to P2 Demon Queen's Enclave which was level 14-17 for $25.

But P2 wasn't a super adventure

His point, I think, is that if it went through 12th to 17th level, it would be bigger, whereas the 14-17th level is the same as a normal (i.e. not super) module.

Yes in case I didn't communicate clearly, Kal caught my drift.  I'm trying to find out if the cover on the WotC site is a mockup (this wouldn't be the first time the final product was not identical to the advertized cover), or if the earlier information was wrong and it was going to be no larger than a normal adventure module.

Thing is as I understand it a Super Adventure is more like a mini-setting with the level given probably being more an estimate if you follow the main plot rigorously. if your party deviates and explores however players will probably reach higher levels. I expect it to have more info on the area the adventure takes place in tbh.

The first DMG tells you what Wizard's thinks a super adventure is. A large non-linear adventure that all takes place in a very detailed and intersting location.

It was orignially going to be a boxed set. Perhaps at that time it was going to cover 12-17? Everything I have ever seen since then however has listed it as starting at 14. But given it's non-linear nature I'm sure you can squeeze more out of it.

Even at it's suggested levels though it's one more level than a standard adventure.

I agree G1 to G3 and Against the Giants was huge campaigns.

Since it seems this is just a 4.0 take on the classic scenario. I would venture as long as you are paragon you will find plenty to do.

Today's preview doesn't say what levels it will take you through, but the thing is 9 "parts" long. I'm guessing each part is approximately 4-8 hours worth of play.

A gut look at this would say you could expect to get at least halfway through paragon.

I'm rather intrigued by what I've read (I only briefly glanced in case my DM ends up running it). If my DM doesn't end up running this for our group, I might very well use this as the basis for a campaign sometime in the future.

Well maybe we'll get a design and development or interview or something about it, because as it stands even though I had hoped for something to use since work load has me feeling uncreative, Revenge may not be what I was looking for.
