Wouldn't it be nice if they released it in a hard/soft cover book. I think it would do it justice since its such a well done adventure; well in my opinion.

And the fact that its a semi-sequel to The Red Hand of Doom. What do you think?

Have you run it or gone through it as a player?

I like the overall premise, but I feel like there are lots of inconsistencies.  That being said, I liked how Paizo pieced Shackled City together in the book, so perhaps WotC will do something similar.

Definatly a comment from a Player (with a good DM I might add), SoW is badly laid out (not even a outline of events or NPCs for DMs), the adventures in most cases are thinly linked together, the overall adventure is strewn with inconsistancies and plot-holes, beginning adventures lacked sufficient motivation for the PCs, etc., etc. (there are tons of SoW problem threads over on the SoW board, if you need more).

Considering how much of SoW I had to rewrite, and tailor, I doubt any published adventure would look like what most of us DMs ended up running with this AP. I say let this thing die, and please please Dungeon try to address some of the issues brought up by DMs concerning the SoW AP, before you start another. Lets not repeat this please.

I actually am the DM, and I find it very easy to string together the adventures with a lil time, and simply ignore the few plot holes that are apparent.

My problem with SOW is how its set up all the info is spread out so you end up going from pgX to pgY far too often.Yell

I don't know how deep you have gotten into the AP, but eventually you can't "simply ignore the few plot holes that are apparent", as they become larger and more numerous as time goes by. But regardless while having to work to string together a series of adventures (that really should just work together seamlessly), and/or ignoring plot holes, may be fine in a cheap disposable format (such as a monthly 2 dollar PDF). It is not the quality of product I would want to see published in a hardcover.

But were talking about a general editing of the adventure before publishing to string it together. I think "The Red Hand of Doom" was done very well, and is one of my groups favorite written adventures, other then "The Speaker In Dreams" and "The Sinister Spire" which are great adventures!!!

I'm glad that the RHoD was one of your group's favorite adventures but SoW does not have the same quality. I doubt we will agree on this, so for my final statement I would just say; I would rather WotC spend the time and effort to create new higher quality adventures for hardcover print, over editing material they already published online into a pricey hardcover. I just don't think its worth it...sorry.
