I know this is silly, but I really liked it when they droped the letters on the races and classes for the PHB2. When do you think if ever we'll get the letters from the PHB3? It's kinda like shaking the box on christmas. I don't care that the guesses can be wrong, or they might change a letter or 2 but it's fun all the same. Thanks WoTC. Can we have another? :D

lol Well, if the last set is any indication, we're due for the next set of letters come the release of PH2. (The previous set came from some Game Day videos filmed on 6 June 2008, the 4E release date.)

I have visions of Ps and Ps being in the list.

It wouldn't surprise me if the PHB3 appeared in December. After all, it'll have been 9 months since the PHB2, and ... what else are they going to bring out?

Primal Power.

According to the products page, Primal Power appears in October.

December's books are still to be revealed.

I'd buy PHB3 if it came out in December.

Wow... that was fast.

I know the original plan was to do one of each "Core" book and one settings book per year, but they may decide that's too dry. We already got two "monster" books lately, and there's only so much room for those.

What are you talking about with "Only so much room for monster books"? They had 5 Monster Manuals in 3.5.

You can only create so many gelatinous cubes with a different name before you need to say "enough is enough"

Ah, but that's what's so great about the way Wizards is handling this! You have the Monster Manuals with all of the standard monsters that you would need in a game and the others (Draconomicon types) for specifics on 'specialty' monsters. You won't get many of them in a MM, but Strawberry Gelatinous Cubes will likely give information about all kinds of those buggers along with ways to roleplay them (from the subtlety of "this one craves oozing around zombies and this one loves dragonborn!").

Hmm... A book on oozes. It would be the best book for both dungeon crawling and dessert.

*gets hungry*

Sorry, I didn't mean Monster Manuals, I meant books like Draconomicon and Open Grave/Libris Mortis, that focus on specific monster types. One book each for chromatic and metallic dragons is already pushing it, IMO.

That's only in Soviet Russia.
