Looks like a new series of modules starting with HS1. I would have bet that Wizards were going to drop or slow down module sales once E3 was done; guess I was wrong. If anything they're stepping up, judging by that listing for Hammerfast ("a fully detailed dwarven town").

Ignore me. I thought it was just going to be in a HS module. I didn't realise it was JUST on a single town.

I'll be very curious about this. I'm running an Eberron campaign rather than a PoL world. But it could be generic enough for me to fit into Eberron. Although regardless I'll most likely hold off on buying it until I send my players to that part of the world.

Huh we are getting The Plane Above a lot sooner then I figured we would. I guess we just need to wait for the full details to get posted in a few days to see if there are any interesting bits among the listings.

Anyone know what the "S" stands for in the HS1?

Maybe their Super Adventures? Books that give you a location to have multiple adventure in instead of just one dungeon crawl?

I'm skeptical of the Dragonborn book. We've already got one from Goodman Games so I'll be seeing which is the better one based on reviews. Although of the others I'll inevitably be getting:
* Underdark - I love the Underdark so this has been my most anticipated book (I don't own any of the 3.5e Underdark books).
* PHB3 of course
* The Plane Above: Secrets of the Astral Sea - I like the sound of world-hopping and spelljammer type stuff. So if this book is incorporating that further into 4th ed, I'll be getting it.

Looks like my "to buy" list isn't going to get shrink any unfortunately.

Maybe their Super Adventures? Books that give you a location to have multiple adventure in instead of just one dungeon crawl?

They could also be "Heroes Second" to denote a second series of heroic-tier adventures (the first one being H1 to H3).

I hope this new series of adventures has more of a story to it. Between HS1 and Hammerfest it's looking like the Nentir Vale may end up being the most detailed campaign setting of them all.

Mmm... we need a Thunderspire Laybrinth sourcebook. The adventure was pretty ugh... the setting was fantastic!

I have a theory that it stands for the Second series of adventures. ;)

Edit: ooo, didn't see that I was ninja'd by half a day. :P

Could be!

So, what happens when the fifth series comes out? :D

If each series takes them 1.5 years to get through, that won't be a problem. We'll be in 5th edition by then. :P

From reading the entry in the Catalouge, it stands for Series, and it seems at least HS1 and HS2 will be linked more so than H1 and H2.

Dragonborn book eh? I take it there weren't enough reasons to play dragonborns already, so they get the first book. I would have much preferred a halfling or tiefling book first, but we'll see with what kind of frequency we get these super splat race books.

It seems the HS1 series will only be heroic. I'm guessing they are doing this so they can simultaneously release paragon and epic series as well.

I am a little confused, I thought we were getting the Planes BELOW next year. If a book is about a year out that means it is mostly done and there is editing being done to it. Unless it was a illusion they cast on us... Damn Wizards
