Now that Gamma World is out . . .

Any chance that we may see other old products re-appear?

I would like to see Stardrive come back . . .

I have great memories of playing that!

All I ask is . . .

That is comes in a book format.

Hardcover or trade paperback.

I don't like this trend of products coming out in box sets.

Thanks.

Maybe... depends of sales IMHO.
GW is SCI-FI (kind's) so if it does well then more Sci-Fi.

I don't think so. Even if Gama World did decent, WotC; and what I think is the general consensus about DnD, is that they hate Sci-fi. So probably not.

I'd totally buy Star Frontiers! Vrusk! Dralasites! Yazirians!

It'd be great to have these games take on the d20 system, or at least be compatable with the current DND system.  I'd like to have some of my DND characters be able to find themselves climbing aboard a starship at a makeshift spaceport in the Nentir Vale.

w00t!!

Based on the Ravenloft and Gamma World games, I get the sense that the boxed set is the "wave of the future" for WotC. I can see a Stardrive or Star Frontiers game as a stand-alone box just as easily as I can see them as a stand-alone rulebook.

Agreed.  Spelljammer will also likely be released as a boxed set if it gets released for 4e.

I as well, I particularly liked that setting.  I would also very much like to see 4e versions of D20 Modern, Future etc., but this time around I would really like them to be compatible with DnD for multi-genre gaming.  If the trend is moving towards box sets (not my first choice), I would not mind seeing versions of Stardrive, Dark Matter, Planescape and Spelljammer.

I personally would love to see Star Frontiers or Stardrive using the 4ed rules system make a comeback. In fact id just love to see a Sci Fi setting using the 4ed rules !

Absolutely this...

I've been saying since 4e came out that I want to see D20 Modern/Future return, and that I feel it's extremely important for it to be 100% compatible with mainstream D&D 4e.

I rather enjoyed D20 Modern's campaign settings (even though they weren't terribly well fleshed out) but I always had a major problem with the game itself. It was designed in such a way so that the monsters were completely compatible with D&D3e, but not much else was. I ran a dimension-traveling campaign that had the characters bouncing between Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, modern-day Earth, Star Frontiers, and a few other settings while tracking down clues to what was causing (and how to stop) a multiversal catastrophe. My players and I all loved the story and the campaign theme (and that it involved so many of the places they knew in the D&D Multiverse), but we were constantly banging our heads against the incompatibilities between D20 Modern/Future and Dungeons & Dragons.

So I feel that all of D&D should be 100% compatible, not just the fantasy elements. And they can't tell us that sci-fi elements don't work in the same system alongside fantasy. I've seen several good examples of sci-fi and fantasy working hand-in-hand. In fact, I'm using the rules presented in the 3rd party Amethyst book to have a mixed-party of magic-users, sword-wielding warriors, and gun-toting soldiers.

Granted, I don't know how likely anything like that will be (from Wizards) considering that they've made the 4e Gamma World just like the old D20 Modern stuff;  monsters can be transferred between Gamma World and other D&D settings nearly seamlessly, but just about nothing else can. Does not bode well for the future (and makes me seriously worry that the Ravenloft RPG will be the same way, which would be a tragedy.)

I'll be honest, I'd like to see a StarDrive or d20 Modern re-release based on the Star Wars Saga rules, seeing as those currently have no use, and I still think they were the best ever iteration of d20 Rules.

Except that that would leave them even less D&D-compatible then the old D20 Modern was with the rest of the D20 System.  No thank you.
