So here's what I just noticed sitting at the top of the product catalogue:

www.wizards.com/dnd/Product.aspx?x=dnd/p...

They've even got a proper cover for it which is more than can be said for the Elemental Chaos book. This is the first I've heard of this book and have no idea what it might contain. Heroes of the underdark maybe? Anybody know anything about this?

Blue binding means Player book.  I am hoping for stuff covering multiple areas like the Underdark, Shadowfell, Feywild, Far Realm, etc.

If you look at the cover the name is Dungeon Survival Handbook: Into the Unknown.

It sounds like it maybe another player stradgey guide style thingy, which would would suck. Into the unknown subtitle does give me hope that it will be something far more interesting. Maybe a book of adventure themes.

that has actually already been updated (sortof..), but it was "lost in the shuffle" during the 3.X -> 4.0 changeover. was called Dungeon Survival Guide, written by bill slavicsek and chris perkins, published oct 2007. i think it's considered a 3.X product, but it has the 4.0 logo.

Could be! I have that book, and I think it's more along the lines of 30 Years of Adventure than it is a rulebook. Will double check it tonight to make sure...
